Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-05

1. Who we are

qr_order is a software-as-a-service product operated by Nsquare Microtech ("we", "us") that lets small food shops take customer orders from a single QR code. Two roles use the product: (a) shops (subscribed shop owners and their staff) and (b) customers(people scanning a shop's QR to place an order).

2. We are not a payment intermediary

qr_order does not collect, hold, route, or settle payments. When you place an order, you pay the shop directly — typically at the counter via cash or by scanning the shop's own UPI QR. We have no visibility into whether a payment succeeded, and we are not a party to any dispute between a customer and a shop arising from payment.

3. Order accuracy and fulfilment

The menu, prices, item availability, and order status shown to a customer are controlled by the shop. We display this information faithfully but do not verify, endorse, or guarantee it. If an order cannot be fulfilled, the shop will cancel it and resolve any payment that has already been collected. Reach out to the shop directly for refunds.

4. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, push security updates, or temporarily disable features. We'll attempt to notify shops of planned downtime.

5. Acceptable use

6. Subscription and billing (shops)

Shops subscribe to a monthly plan. Plan tier and price are shown at signup. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice; an existing subscription stays at its current price for the remainder of its billing cycle. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing cycle; we don't prorate refunds for partial months.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship for any reason. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if a shop materially violates these terms. On termination, the shop can export its order history within 30 days; after that, we delete it.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability to a shop in a given billing cycle is capped at the subscription fees paid in that cycle. We're not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages — for example, lost profits from a service outage. Customers do not pay us, and our liability to a customer for use of the customer surface is limited to the amount we charged the customer for it (which is zero).

9. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved by the courts at our principal place of business. Before filing a claim, we ask that you contact us in good faith and try to resolve it informally.

10. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
